Family Impact

Family Impact, a Naperville, Illinios-based company, works with parents who want to enjoy raising their children. Family Impact assists church leaders to make that happen. Diane Overgard and Janice Rubin are authors of Let’s Talk Parenting, among other books, and are also speakers at several churches and professional organizations. They offer training resources, classes, and books specifically for the parent or church leader who wants to train others to form Parenting Groups in their neighborhoods, churches, and communities. Family Impact’s message is clear, strong, and loads of fun, as are the two ladies that make this company happen!

I developed their website in 2005 for the purpose of attracting the online community to their online classes and promote their parenting books. This site features a variety of stock photo images, a clean navigation, colorful and lively web graphics, funky text fonts, and interactive buttons. I created this site specifically to suit the personality of the people who make this awesome company happen.

Together, we devised a strategy to incorporate the art of relationship marketing into their internet marketing plan. Networking events and community outreach serve as a major cornerstone for their strategies and define who they are as a group. I also helped them to include list-building and blogging, and podcast production, and currently developed their digital videos for e-courses they were creating. Family Impact’s internet marketing strategy has allowed them to reach various customers in the U.S. as well as in Ethiopia and abroad.

Office Girl On The Go

Office Girl On The Go

Office Girl On The Go Logo Design & Branding

Chasity came to me for help with creating her logo, brand, and website for a new virtual assistant business venture she was beginning. She also wanted a blog space to encourage working moms whose desire was to transition out of the workplace.

Based on Chasity’s recent photo shoot, I selected a color palette and moodboard to match the tone of her business: feminine, light, playful and professional.

The Visuals

With the Office Girl on The Go brand, I was inspired by beach scenes and open, airy office spaces near the outdoors when selecting. I knew that Chasity’s goal was to help women transition out of the workplace and allow for life flexibility while maintaining independence and career.

Since being “on the go” can be translated to meaning “having the freedom to work flexibly”, I felt the fun, vibrant colors inspired by the beach paired with office visuals would be a great match for her brand.

Faith Girl Fit Logo & Website Design

Pam, owner of Shake It Fitness, is a Zumba instructor and homeschool mom who came to me because she needed to freshen up her logo and create a space online to help promote her fitness brand.

We took a character from her previously designed logo and recreated a website banner and logo with a feminine font and festive colors. I wanted to capture the spirit of Pam’s fitness brand through beautiful fonts, jazzy background pattern and fun logo frame.

Homeschool Power Website Design

Tracy reached out to me to help her transition from a Blogger to WordPress website. She already had a logo and just needed to migrate her posts, reduce clutter, and freshen up her blog with a new look.  She also wanted to be sure not to lose any of her posts during the transition.

We brought Tracy’s website over to WordPress and gave her blog a facelift she is super proud of!

The Visuals

Tracy indicated that she loves white, pink and turquoise. I wanted to make sure we used her current logo colors as inspiration in building her new site.

We decided on an image slider to greet visitors, a simple and clean navigation, search box, and social media profile display.
